New Chevy Volt brings electric driving to the masses
Because of their short range, electric cars remain niche products driven by early adopters, but the new Chevy Volt will make more sense to the masses, letting them dip their toes into the electric pool. CNET Editor Antuan Goodwin went on a drive program for the new Volt, where it got him 53 miles on electricity alone, good enough for most commutes. And after the drive battery drained, the engine took over, seamlessly generating electricity to keep the 2016 Volt going on its merry way. READ MORE »
